Tinka Wong is a Graduate Coach at InGenius Prep. She completed her BA in Biomedical Sciences, specializing in Neuroscience at the University of Oxford and earned her MSc in Translational Neuroscience at Imperial College London. Throughout Tinka’s degrees, she developed her research interests by investigating how sleep restriction affects short-term memory and exploring the motivational mechanisms of young people who self-harm. She also expanded her research skillset and gained professional experience through a laboratory internship at the University of Hong Kong and a technology consulting internship at TTP plc.
Beyond her academic endeavors, Tinka is also passionate about helping students get into top UK universities. She has experience personally mentoring students who eventually received conditional offers to Oxbridge, hosting admissions talks for hundreds of prospective students, and coordinating outreach initiatives to help the organization reach a larger audience.
As a Graduate Coach, Tinka’s mentoring style is friendly, personal and goal-oriented. She takes her experience in private tutoring and admissions counseling to personalize her lessons for individual students, developing their strengths and improving their weaknesses.
