Victor Weng, a Graduate Coach based in London, is a skilled computer scientist with expertise in machine learning and deep learning applications. His academic background includes degrees from top institutions such as Imperial College London and University College London. Victor’s work has focused on utilizing AI to address real-world challenges in areas like medical imaging and computer vision.
With a strong foundation in mathematics, including linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical analysis, Victor possesses a deep understanding of complex algorithms and the ability to optimize their performance. He is proficient in programming languages such as Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow, and has experience in both low-level system programming and high-level application development.
Victor’s research has demonstrated his ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. He designed a novel integrated attention-guided GAN framework for translating eczema-affected skin across different skin types while preserving unaffected regions to address racial bias in medical image analysis. He also developed a 3D CNN framework for robust NODDI brain microstructure parameter estimation from motion-corrupted diffusion MRI data, reducing required diffusion-weighted image inputs. As a Graduate Coach, he uses his STEM insights to guide his students through the admissions process and into their dream schools.
