Greetings! I’m Xin Zheng, a Part-Time Graduate Coach specializing in Computer Science, Data Science, and Business Analytics. I hold a master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Information Systems Management, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Richmond.
Currently, I serve as a full-time Machine Learning Engineer at the Chinese Institute of Brain Research, where I contribute to groundbreaking projects in neural science. Additionally, I work part-time as a Software Developer at Roadies Labs, an exciting AI-Startup. My journey in computer science and machine learning has been enriched by diverse experiences, including robotics research and data science internships.
Driven by my passion for helping others grow, I have had the opportunity to coach students throughout the application process. Guiding students to uncover their potential and to reach their educational and professional goals is a true source of inspiration for me. With my wide range of experiences and expertise, I aim to assist students to discover resources, find out their passions, and build effective profiles for their applications based on their unique backgrounds.
Beyond my professional and academic pursuits, I like to work out, hike, and scuba-dive. Currently, I’m also immersing myself in the art of playing the electric guitar. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions relating to computer science, data science, or the general application process. I am looking forward to getting to know your passion and help you reach your goals.
