Hello! I am a Grad Coach of computer science at InGenius Prep. I received my undergraduate degree from UC Irvine and master’s degree from Duke University. I majored in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics.
During the past years, I have spent more than 200 hours teaching classes from Multivariable Calculus to Data Structure and Algorithms. I have coached more than 10 full stack software projects and multiple Kaggle Competitions. I developed a series of activities that help students improve both their skills and resume experience to apply for graduate programs, internships and full-time jobs. I have advised more than ten students with different majors and backgrounds to help them find an ideal job/internship or go to a desired graduate program. I designed their strategy plans and helped them make it through application season, including on-campus research, club activity, competition awards, online course certificate, and technical skill improvement. I enjoy the opportunity and the process of growing together with a student to see their potential and dream be realized.
I enjoy coding as a way to talk to computers and improve our world; I am even more excited to talk to students to help them achieve their goals and improve their lives!
