Hey there! I am a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep, based in Baltimore, MD. I received my undergraduate degree from Brown University where I double concentrated in Middle-Eastern Studies and Gender & Sexuality Studies. During my time in undergrad, I partook in various leadership opportunities centered around education and community-building. Some of these included being a Women’s Peer Counselor (like an RA for women), a teacher at a private high school, a technology tutor at a senior home, and a Project Coordinator at my university’s women’s center.
Since then, I’ve continued my passions for education and mentorship through being a K-5 Early-Literacy Teacher for Baltimore City Public Schools. I’m also the Social Media Specialist for a non-profit called Emgage, which focuses on voter-mobilization and civic empowerment in American Muslim communities.
In my free time I love to spend time with my friends and family. I also love to travel, go to concerts, meet new people and cook!
