Jacob Randolph is Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep based in California. Jacob is a JD candidate at Stanford pursuing a joint degree in Law and Education. Jacob grew up in Fontana, California, and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with Honors from Stanford. Between college and law school, he worked as a Caseworker and Press Aide with the Office of Congresswoman Norma Torres, where he resolved constituent issues with federal agencies at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jacob has also externed with the Civil Division at the US Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles, and has served as Co-President of Stanford Law’s First-Generation Professionals, Co-President of Stanford Law Democrats, Recruitment Chair for Stanford Latinx Law Students Association, and completed a clinical quarter with the law school’s Youth and Education Law Project. Most recently, Jacob served as Residential Advisor to the Stanford Law Scholars Institute, a pipeline program for first-generation college students interested in pursuing a legal education.
Over the last 7 years, Jacob have mentored dozens of applicants through the application process and tailored resources to their unique situations. His coaching philosophy centers on helping students portray a holistic application picture that encompasses the entirety of their lived experience. Jacob draws from his experience in Law, Education, and Political Science to assist a variety of students. At InGenius Prep, Jacob focuses on delivering thorough support through the prep and application processes. His specialties include helping students enhance their extracurriculars as well as providing clear, in-depth feedback on application essays.
