Hello! I am a Former Admissions Officer with InGenius Prep, splitting my time between Athens, Ohio, and Washington, DC. I received my undergraduate degree from Macalester College, where I majored in International Studies and worked in the Study Away office. Following graduation, I spent four years working as an Admissions Officer at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) admissions office in Washington D.C. I worked closely with future leaders and policymakers to connect them with international relations and economic policy training to help them achieve their academic and professional goals. I even had the honor of speaking as a recruiter at my alma mater!
Between growing up in Japan and studying in Italy, I understand the transformative potential of international education. I know everyone has a different path to making a global impact. Especially now, with an increasingly complex world of economic, political, and environmental questions, we need talented and mission-driven people to lead the way. It is my pleasure to work with you as you take your next steps on your education journey.
Outside of the (virtual) office, I am a nature enthusiast, cyclist, swimmer, and soccer player. When I am not outdoors, I like to experiment with new coffee varieties and brewing methods. In my spare time, I volunteer with a non-profit to raise awareness of environmental justice and endangered species in the United States.
