Anna Gerchanovsky is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep, based in Durham, North Carolina. She earned her BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science in 2023 and her MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2024, both from Carnegie Mellon University. Anna is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at Duke University. With a strong background in teaching, mentoring, and computer science, she brings extensive insight and expertise to her role as a Graduate Coach.
Her experience includes serving as the head teaching assistant for “Introduction to Computer Security” and conducting research at Carnegie Mellon University’s Cylab and Duke University’s Department of Computer Science. She has worked on projects involving Adversarial Machine Learning, including image classifiers, facial recognition software, and text and image generation.
Anna has also supported students in Electrical and Computer Engineering and related fields as a tutor, peer advisor, and teaching assistant. Her role as a teaching assistant has equipped her with valuable skills in supporting student work and guiding research interests.
As a Graduate Coach, Anna applies her academic and teaching experience to help students navigate the application process. Her goal is to ensure that students feel well-prepared and confident throughout their academic journey.
