Badrul Husain is a Graduate Coach based in New York with over 25 years of experience at the intersection of business and technology. As the founder of an AI solutions company and an adjunct professor at New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering, Badrul brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial and academic expertise to his coaching role. His extensive corporate experience in consulting and management roles at Deloitte Consulting and other firms has provided him with valuable insights into the recruitment, training, onboarding, and retention of recent graduates.
Badrul’s commitment to mentorship is evident in his involvement with students at Columbia College, where he has served as an alumni interviewer for applicants. He has also guided his daughters, nieces, and nephews through the college admissions process, giving him a firsthand understanding of the challenges applicants face. Additionally, Badrul is often invited to share his insights with admitted students at the Yale School of Management, helping them make informed enrollment decisions.
Having worked and traveled extensively in South and Southeast Asia, Badrul is aware of the cultural differences that international students may be concerned about and can provide valuable insights. As the son of a diplomat, Badrul grew up in several countries and attended a variety of public, private, and international schools, enabling him to relate to a diverse range of academic systems.
