Carla Dager is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep based in Ecuador. As a professional researcher and journalist, Carla brings a mix of academic insight and market expertise to her role. Carla earned her BA in Economics from Brown University and has since worked as a financial journalist for news outlets, focusing on emerging markets and political, economic, and social developments. As a coach, Carla now guides students through the college admissions process and helps them find fulfilling programs.
During her time at Brown, Carla engaged with her community by taking on mentoring roles. Since her graduation, she has served as a mentor for the Brown University Women’s Launch Pad, which assists female students in navigating their career paths. Carla was also an advisory board member for the Columbia University Impact Investing Network, an alumni interviewer for Brown University, and a coordinator for the university’s transfer student welcoming program.
As a Graduate Couch, Carla combines her research and writing skills with her passion for mentoring to help students identify their strengths and craft compelling personal narratives. Carla understands students’ challenges and works to address those struggles directly so students can pursue opportunities unimpeded. Whether they be domestic or foreign, Carla is prepared to help all students reach their educational aspirations
