Gail is a Former Admissions Officer based in Dallas, Texas via Ann Arbor, Michigan and New York, New York. Gail developed deep expertise from the other side of the desk, having worked in admissions for seven years, reviewing and evaluating thousands of applications in her five years at The University of Michigan Office of Undergraduate Admissions and most recently at The University of Michigan Law School. Prior to working in admissions, she enjoyed a varied legal career, including serving as in-house counsel at New York investment bank Bear, Stearns, litigation associate at New York law firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and senior enforcement attorney at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Boston.
Gail earned her BA in Psychology from Brandeis University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and her JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where she served as an editor of the Law Review. She is passionate about the field of college admissions, and is endlessly fascinated with getting to know students, helping them identify their passions, and guiding them to tell a compelling and cohesive story in their applications.
