I am a current MSTP (MD/PhD) student at UC San Diego School of Medicine. My passion for research started as a child, when I participated annually in state and national science fairs. My PhD research focuses on understanding how germline variation modifies the tumor immune microenvironment in the hopes of identifying better predictive biomarkers for immunotherapy. Before UCSD, I completed my BS in Chemistry at Caltech and a study abroad quarter at the University of Cambridge.
I am also passionate about medical writing and health policy. I write for Med School Insiders and work with California and American Medical Associations. Outside of work, I like to dance, play volleyball, and work out.
