Hello! I am a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep. I’m currently working in a boutique consulting firm based in San Francisco, California. I received my master’s degree from Cornell University where I majored in Applied Statisitcs and gained my bachelor’s degree from Boston University with a major in Economics and minors in Communications and Statistics. I love quantitative thinking and big data and I’m now applying my knowledge to solve problems in the real business world.
Beside business, my passion also sits in teaching. When I was at school, I was a math tutor. I enjoyed the feeling of helping people solve their confusions and having intellectual communications. After graduation, I also mentored some of my junior friends with their applications for colleges and top graduate programs. I was all by myself on the path of academia applications so I fully understand what problems the candidates might have and things they don’t see at the time being. I think both college and graduate program applications are exciting times for a student to discover themselves in their passion, interest, talent and future desire. It is serious, but should not be stressful.
Outside of work, I love snowboarding (thanks to the heavy snow on the east coast) and exploring different cultures while travelling. I also like art and architecture and have an innovator’s spirit in my body. After moving to California, I gradually developed more interest in outdoor activities like hiking and wandering on the beach.
