Hello! I am a Graduate Coach at InGenius Prep and a PhD Candidate in Computational Neuroscience at Princeton.
I grew up in Denver, Colorado and completed my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (with a minor in Chinese) at SMU, where I graduated as the valedictorian. In undergrad I conducted research in various areas of machine learning, eventually settling on Computational Neuroscience. At Princeton, my research has focused on cognitive control and memory-augmented neural networks, and outside of research I’ve served as a research advisor for over a dozen students and taught a seminar course.
I’ve worked as a research advisor and provided admissions counseling for dozens of students, helping them get into their dream undergraduate and graduate programs. I enjoy helping students effectively communicate their unique background and interests to admissions officers and helping students find programs and research advisors that fit their needs.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, rock climbing, and eating (too much) food. I’m excited to help you navigate the graduate school admissions process!
