David Kerman is a Former Admissions Officer with InGenius Prep based in Raleigh, North Carolina. David grew up in New York before journeying to North Carolina to complete his BA at Elon University. David also holds an MA from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study.
He began his admissions career at Elon directly after graduating, where he oversaw recruitment and application review for the mid-Atlantic region. From there, David moved to New York City to serve as an Assistant Director of Admissions at New York University. At NYU, David managed application review for students from both the United States and China, developing a passion for working with students with global ambitions.
David then spent four years as an Assistant Director of Admissions at NYU Abu Dhabi, where he created the campus’ first artistic review process and oversaw recruitment and application review for students from parts of the United States and Canada, as well as Southeast Asia and Oceania.
While serving at NYU Abu Dhabi, David spent three years as an advisor with NYU’s College Access Leadership Institute in New York, where he helped several cohorts of students outline their goals and identify college pathways that could make them a reality. After taking a different role, David continued to serve as an external reader for undergraduate applicants to NYU’s campus in New York.
At InGenius Prep, David looks forward to supporting his students and sharing his experience to ensure their success.
