Born in Beijing, and immigrated to the U.S. in middle school, Erin received her BA in Biology and Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College. Before earning her EdM from Harvard, Erin returned to China to teach at a rural village school in the Qinling Mountains where she confirmed her life-long passion for education. Throughout her career, Erin has dedicated herself to improving intellectual development and cultural exchange through connecting with students (especially teenagers), designing and delivering engaging interactions, and training and managing new and veteran educators. Erin takes this student-centered approach into her work at InGenius Prep and works hard to ensure the counseling and advice students and families receive are the best in the industry. She is currently teaching the youngest InGenius Prep student, her daughter Emma!
