Mark Cheong is a Former Admissions Officer with InGenius Prep whose work is uniquely shaped by over a decade of experience supporting students and families through admissions, residential life, and school placement. A graduate of the prestigious Kent School, Mark holds a Master’s in Globalization in Education, which informs his deep understanding of school fit, identity, and the diverse values families bring to the educational journey.
Throughout his career, Mark has worked across the entire student lifecycle—not only through the competitive admissions process but also through the critical transition into boarding school life. His extensive background includes serving as a Director of Residential Life, dorm head, advisor, and coach.
This “360-degree” view of campus life allows him to provide an insider’s perspective on what helps a student thrive once they arrive on campus. Having worked with families both across the United States and internationally, Mark is an expert at guiding students to present themselves with authenticity, clarity, and confidence.
