Olivia Wang is a Graduate Coach who earned her BA in Cognitive Science, with minors in Computer Science and Hispanic Studies, from the University of Pennsylvania. Her interdisciplinary studies explored the intersections of technology, psychology, language, and society, while her campus leadership shaped her as a mentor.
At Penn, Olivia served as president of her dance group, a pre-orientation leader guiding incoming students, and an alumni interviewer evaluating applicants from the admissions side. Professionally, she has been a team lead at a healthcare software company mentoring new employees, and an editor for HerCampus, helping student writers sharpen their ideas while preserving their voice.
These experiences have strengthened Olivia’s ability to ask thoughtful questions and tailor her guidance to each student’s goals. As a Graduate Coach, she helps students identify what makes them unique and translate it into compelling applications, aiming to match them with colleges where they can grow and succeed.
