Hi, I’m Adelaide! I am a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep currently based in Prague, Czechia but originally from Lawrence, Kansas. I graduated from Pomona College in Claremont, California, where I double majored in Cognitive Science and Media Studies and minored in Russian & Eastern European Studies.
At Pomona, I served as a Residential Advisor, helping both domestic and international students adjust to their first years of college. I worked as a student liaison to the Department of Linguistics and Cognitive Science and was both Copy and Design Editor for the Russian Department’s biannual magazine. I also worked as a standardized test tutor to assist high school students with preparing for the ACT, PSAT, and SAT. After studying abroad, I became interested in promoting international education and cross-cultural studies, so I moved to Prague to pursue a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification, which I received in February of 2022. I love the hands-on nature and strong rapport building that comes with working with students one-on-one, and I hope to help others get into their dream schools as I did with mine!
Outside of work, my hobbies include reading mystery novels, playing the New York Times crossword, and exploring my new home of Central Europe.
