About Aidan Fitzsimons

Aidan Fitzsimons is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep and a doctoral candidate at Northwestern University in a dual program in Computer Science and Communications. He studies self-presentation in college admissions essays as part of his dissertation research, and works closely with deans of top admissions offices and admissions officers through his research work.

He received his BS in Mathematics and BA in Public Policy Studies from Duke University before starting his doctoral program. As a Graduate Coach, Aidan is passionate about helping students learn about themselves and set goals through the college application process, making this process a valuable self-learning experience long-term.
