Andrew Song is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep who is currently pursuing an MFA in Film and Television Production at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, concentrating in directing and writing. He earned his BA in English and American Studies from Stanford University.
Andrew has extensive experience helping students navigate the college admissions process, from local schools to Ivy League applications. Over the past five years, he has worked as a private college admissions and SAT tutor, and in the past two years alone has edited over 250 college essays while guiding more than 50 students through their applications.
Alongside his counseling work, Andrew is an active filmmaker and script analyst for production companies including Hammerstone Studios and Fortunate Jack Productions; his own short films, including Figueroa Street and Southside, have screened at the Prescott Film Festival and been supported by two Stanford VPUE Major Grants. As a Graduate Coach, he brings that same eye for narrative to helping students of all backgrounds craft compelling, authentic applications.
