Angie is a Former Admissions Officer with over a decade of experience that spans elite private boarding schools, public high school counseling, and major state university recruitment. A graduate of Georgia State University, she specialized in Sociology with a focus on Family and Children, a background that informs her empathetic and student-centered approach to counseling.
Angie’s career includes five years at St. Paul’s School, an elite New England boarding school, where she served as the Associate Director of Admissions, head of house, and assistant varsity coach. This role gave her an “insider’s” understanding of the residential life and character-based evaluation processes of top-tier secondary schools. Following her time in New England, she moved into higher education recruitment, serving as the Regional Recruitment Manager for Ohio University and currently for The Ohio State University, where she specializes in yielding priority demographics and navigating complex market trends.
Originally from West Texas and currently based in Metro Atlanta, Angie views personal connection as her “North Star”. Her diverse history as a KIPP high school counselor and a university recruiter allows her to guide families through every milestone of the educational journey—from boarding school placement to competitive college admissions—with a focus on finding a true sense of belonging for every student.
