Cameron Turner is a Graduate Coach, startup-focused product design leader, and human behavior specialist who brings over 15 years of high-level industry experience to student mentorship. Cam holds an MA in Game Design alongside a formal background in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Design. His foundational roots in game design deeply inform his approach to product design—giving him a sharp instinct for how human motivation, feedback loops, and flow function within digital systems.
Throughout his career, Cam has worked at the absolute leading edges of technology, moving from agency work to leading product teams across Big Data, IoT, Machine Learning, and AI. As a Founding Designer and Head of Product, he has built products from early MVP to scale. His track record includes serving as Principal Lead Designer for AWS (leading design for Amazon Key and Kinesis streaming data), Head of Design at August Home (launching smart home hardware featured globally in Apple Stores), and Founding Designer at high-growth AI and creator platforms like Yogi, Make The Dot, and CRATE. Products he has designed have driven massive ARR growth, secured $5M+ seed rounds, and achieved major acquisitions by AWS and MAC Ventures.
