Crissy is a Former Admissions Officer with InGenius Prep, living in Boston, MA. She started her career in higher education as an Admissions Officer at MIT. In this role, she read applications from students living all over the U.S. and Asia and participated in the selection committee. For her, it was a privilege to get to know students with such different backgrounds and life stories. There are some applications she will never forget; her time reading taught her firsthand how important it is for students to effectively tell their story in their applications. Crissy enjoys working with students to help them identify schools that are the right fit for them and to express what makes them who they are in their submissions.
She received her B.A. in Sociology from Northeastern University and then her JD from Boston College Law School. She also holds a MEd in Higher Education from Harvard University. Having applied to three separate higher education institutions, she knows how overwhelming the process can feel. She is excited to work with students to simplify the process and make it feel more manageable.
