My name is Christopher Brown, and I earned a PhD in Latin American History from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where I was a Fulbright postgraduate student. Previously, I completed a BA in History and Hispanic Studies at the University of Nottingham and an MSc in Latin American Studies at the University of Oxford.
My true passion is tutoring students to ensure their success before, during and after college. I taught for two years with the British Council at the University of Concepción, Chile and at the High School attached to Shanghai Normal University in China. More recently, I taught inter-disciplinary studies courses to undergraduates at Emory University, where I also worked as a tutor in the writing center and at the main research library on campus. As a tutor, I helped dozens of students prepare their essays, applications, and resumes, and I’m excited about helping you do the same!
In my free time, I enjoy reading novels from around the world, following US and UK sports, and playing the saxophone in a jazz band.
