Daniel Torres is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep, based between Bogota, Colombia, and South Florida. As a professional in higher education and college counseling, Daniel combines his expertise in student coaching with his academic specialties to help prospective student applicants through their college admissions journey. A graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Architecture, Daniel received the Goodwin Sands Bronze Memorial Medal for his thesis, which explored the interplay between architectural spaces, projected images, and memory. Now, Daniel brings his professional expertise and innovative methods to his role as a Graduate Coach.
Daniel’s passion for education and visual arts has driven him to teach film-making at the university level and conduct workshops throughout Colombia. These workshops are designed to inspire young people to connect with their history, culture, and environment through filmmaking. He also has extensive experience teaching English as a second language, with a specialty in writing and exam preparation. His deep understanding of narrative techniques and personal storytelling, gained from his work in documentary filmmaking, enables him to guide students in crafting compelling essays that reflect their unique experiences and aspirations.
