About Danny Huang

Hi! Nice to meet you! I am a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep. I am also an Environmental Engineer Ph.D. candidate at Columbia University. I was born and raised in Guangdong, China, but I started my journey in the U.S. when I was 18. I then received my undergraduate degree from UC San Diego where I majored in Chemistry. After I graduated, I left the west coast and went to the east coast to pursue higher education. So yeah, feel free to ask me my opinion on the difference between the west coast and the east coast, or more generally, difference between the west and the east. 

I have been TAing for many classes since my undergraduate. Most of the lectures are chemistry and engineering related. I have worked in several research labs and interned in several different companies. My current research is about carbon capture and storage. It isn’t a very catchy topic, but important enough for the planet.

Outside of academia, I love video games, guitar, and anime. I am excited to talk to you!
