Gabe Dell is a Graduate Coach who brings an elite, dual-degree perspective from the University of Pennsylvania to help students navigate high-stakes law school and graduate applications. Gabe earned his Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from the University of Michigan before pursuing advanced interdisciplinary training at the University of Pennsylvania, where he simultaneously completed his Juris Doctor (J.D.) at the Carey Law School and his Master’s in Nonprofit Leadership at the School of Social Policy & Practice.
Gabe’s professional and legal background is deeply rooted in public accountability, systemic advocacy, and impact litigation. Prior to law school, he worked in government ethics oversight, leading public records investigations to support democratic governance and transparency initiatives. Throughout his legal training, he focused heavily on civil rights, racial and economic justice, and large-scale litigation. His experience spans public interest legal organizations where he fought for prisoners’ rights, housing equity, and consumer protection, balancing direct legal services with broader systemic defense for vulnerable populations.
As an active leader in the legal community, Gabe served as the Vice President of the Democracy Law Project at Penn Law and contributed significantly to voting rights work and public interest scholarship. He applies this rigorous background to his coaching, helping applicants break down complex legal concepts, refine their writing samples, and structure cohesive, multi-dimensional application narratives. Gabe specializes in guiding pre-law and public policy students to strategically align their academic history with a compelling, authentic vision for societal impact.
