Hannah Varacalli is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep based in New York. Hannah graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from New York University and received the East Asian Studies Award for Academic Excellence. Now, as a Graduate Coach, Hannah brings her experience in education and passion for mentoring to her role in guiding students through their academic journeys.
After completing her undergraduate studies, Hannah traveled to Ishikawa, Japan, where she taught at Nishikigaoka Senior High School. During her tenure, she pursued post-baccalaureate coursework in chemistry and biology while co-teaching STEM-based English lessons, supervising clubs, and helping Japanese students apply to American universities and study abroad programs. Hannah’s commitment to educational equity led her to collaborate with the Ishikawa Board of Education to create fair, standardized English exams and hiring criteria for teacher candidates. She later traveled back to the United States to continue her career in mentoring and coaching.
Hannah’s diverse background in education and editing, coupled with her passion for helping her mentees achieve their dreams, drives her in her coaching role. She provides actionable advice and meaningful feedback to students navigating high school and college admissions. Hannah is dedicated to fostering a supportive learning environment and making her guidance an invaluable resource for students in their academic journey.
