Harrison You is a Graduate Coach at InGenius Prep. He earned his BA in Political Science, Magna Cum Laude, from UCLA, completing the degree with Honors in three years. As an undergraduate he was a Sharpe Fellow whose interests spanned STEM research, theatre, and creative writing, including co-authoring cancer research published in Molecular Cancer Research.
Professionally, Harrison has built a multidisciplinary career across strategy consulting, technology, and product management. He advised Fortune 500 companies as a Business Strategy Consultant at Accenture before serving as an early Product Manager at the software startup Celonis and at Capital One. Alongside his advising work, he is also pursuing a career in film and television as a performer and writer.
As a Graduate Coach, Harrison’s varied background lets him relate to students with very different interests, personalities, and ambitions, from those on traditional academic paths to those drawn to the creative arts. He emphasizes discovering what is genuinely distinctive about each student rather than manufacturing an idealized profile, helping them find the throughline among their interests and tell a cohesive, authentic story.
