Jatin Arora is a Graduate Coach and an interdisciplinary technologist who operates at the cutting edge of tech, electronics, design, and media studies. Jatin began his academic journey in India, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering. He then transitioned to the United States to complete a Master’s degree in Digital Media at the Georgia Institute of Technology, before pursuing advanced doctoral research in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at Cornell University.
Jatin’s academic and research portfolio centers on inventing and defining novel interactive systems. His work spans high-impact application areas such as virtual reality (VR), advanced learning technologies, and digital mental health interventions. As a highly published scholar, Jatin has contributed numerous peer-reviewed papers to the world’s premier computing and technology conferences, including ACM CHI, UIST, and UBICOMP.
As a Graduate Coach, Jatin leverages his extensive background across engineering, design research, and interactive media to provide a sophisticated, multidisciplinary perspective. He excels at helping students map out highly competitive higher education pathways in computer science, design, and tech innovation. He is uniquely skilled at teaching students how to present complex, cross-disciplinary technical projects in a way that captures the attention of elite university selection committees.
