Hello! I am a Former Admissions Officer with InGenius Prep, based in Los Angeles, California, where I am currently pursuing my residency in Anesthesiology at University of California Los Angeles.
I grew up in the New York City suburbs and graduated summa cum laude from the College Scholars Program and Hunter R. Rawlings Presidential Research Program at Cornell University. At Cornell, I was involved in undergraduate admissions for the College of Arts & Sciences running information sessions and meeting with prospective and admitted students. After graduating, I worked in clinical research at the Taub Institute at Columbia University Irving Medical Center conducting research on early stage radioligands for PET Imaging in neurodegenerative disease. I remained actively involved in admissions at Cornell by joining the Alumni Admissions Committee and interviewing prospective applicants.
I returned to Cornell in NYC at Weill Cornell Medicine to pursue my MD, where I was actively involved in the medical school admissions process. I participated in a range of admissions positions, including reviewing medical school applications and sitting on the Weill Cornell admissions committee, interviewing applicants, and conducting tours and information sessions. I have also taken on private clients for the last two years to mentor them through the application process for medical school, because I am passionate about helping applicants put their best foot forward in achieving their healthcare career goals.
Outside of my admissions work, I am still an active clinical researcher and mentor. I love working with applicants at every stage of their journey. I am aiming to pursue a hybrid career in medicine spanning clinical practice, research and medical education in academics, and non-clinical work in the healthcare technology space.
In my free time I love going to concerts, playing piano, hiking around LA, trying new restaurants and traveling. I look forward to working together as you work towards the next part of your professional journey!
