About Lina Najem

Hello! I’m Lina, a Graduate Coach at InGenius Prep. I also work as a researcher and writer.

I graduated with a Masters of Arts from Columbia University’s Middle Eastern, South Asian and African Studies Department. Before that, I studied History at Yale University.

Since graduating, I have worked in arts administration, documentary filmmaking, and news journalism. I find that my experience in non-fiction writing, creative storytelling, and reporting helps me perfect the narrative arc of university applications, allowing students to find their voice and present the strongest written account they can.

Over the last few years, I have advised students with college applications for undergraduate and graduate programs. Candidates I have mentored ended up getting into some of the world’s best universities, including Yale, Oxford, Columbia, Berkeley, London School of Economics, USC, Pratt Institute, Queen Mary and Goldsmiths.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing and traveling. I am excited to work together and help you achieve your goals during this important time!
