Meg Targett is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep based in Maine. She received her MEd from Boston University in Curriculum and Teaching. Prior to this, she received her BA Dartmouth College where she double majored in Economics and English. While at Dartmouth, Meg was involved in student programming, America Reads, and Women in Business. She also participated in the Business Bridge program at the Tuck School of Business.
After graduation, Meg was selected as a Corps Member for Teach for America. As a TFA corps member, she spent two years as a teacher in Springfield, MA. While teaching, Meg honed her skills in motivating students and helping them achieve their goals. Following her time in the classroom, Meg hopes to continue to pursue her interest in educational equity by shifting her focus to education policy.
Meg’s degree in English and her experience teaching make her skilled at reviewing essays, providing feedback, and developing warm and collaborative relationships with students and their families. Meg is highly motivated to help students pursue their interests, develop their candidacy, and achieve their admissions goals. At InGenius Prep, she greatly enjoys helping students find their passions and develop their profiles accordingly.
