Priscilla Castro is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep who graduated from Columbia University, where she earned her degree in Biology. At Columbia, Priscilla explored research, healthcare, bioethics, neuroscience, leadership, and business. After graduating, Priscilla began a role at Pfizer Oncology’s marketing department where she was involved with the Breakthrough Fellowship Program. She is preparing for the MCAT and GRE and plans on pursuing an MD/MBA in the future.
Priscilla has mentored many students through her coaching role. She specializes in creating roadmaps that guide students through profile development, personal statement crafting, mock interviews, and resume creation. Having transferred to Columbia as a second-year student, she is very familiar with both first-year and transfer applications.
At InGenius Prep, Priscilla approaches mentorship with a goal-driven style, emphasizing the importance of envisioning objectives. She believes that clearly defining future goals allows for the exploration of different routes to achieving these goals, while developing key skills to utilize in college. Priscilla is a thoughtful listener who prioritizes her students’ unique interests, ensuring that they play a significant role in shaping their stories.
