About William Powers

Before joining InGenius Prep I spent five years as an Admissions Officer for Suffield Academy. In addition to my work in admissions at Suffield I was also the head coach for the Boys’ Water Polo Team, head dorm parent for an upperclassman dorm, served on the admissions committee all five years, and was the admissions liaison for both the college counseling and athletic departments. 

Prior to Suffield Academy I lived and worked in Denver, CO as a swim and water polo coach. While coaching I earned my Masters in Educational Psychology at the University of Denver and I also hold a B.S. in Economics from Santa Clara University. 

I am currently based in Sarasota, FL where I coach water polo for a non-profit youth organization called Sarasota United Water Polo. Outside of work and coaching I enjoy playing golf, fishing, and biking.
