Youssef Aziz is a Graduate Coach with an exceptional legal and academic pedigree, having navigated some of the most prestigious institutions in the world. He graduated summa cum laude and in the top 1% of his class at Cornell University, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa for his studies in sociology and psychology. Youssef then earned his J.D. from NYU School of Law, serving as an editor on the NYU Law Review—one of the top ten law journals in the United States—and receiving high honors for his work in international law and human rights.
Currently clerking at the Constitutional Court of South Africa, Youssef brings a global perspective and a commitment to public interest advocacy to his mentoring. As a first-generation student, he deeply understands the complexities of academic and career planning when navigating elite systems for the first time. His coaching style is supportive and student-centered, focusing on helping mentees identify their unique strengths, build confidence, and think critically about their social impact.
As a Graduate Coach, Youssef specializes in helping students craft compelling, individualized applications that stand out in highly selective admissions. While he is particularly passionate about mentoring those interested in law, public service, and international issues, he enjoys working with students across all disciplines to help them articulate their personal narratives and achieve their long-term educational goals.
