About Yuanyuan Xu

Hi, I am Yuanyuan Xu. I am an educator and student college counselor based in China and the U.S. My own educational journey has taken me across disciplines and institutions. I studied Mathematics Economics and Fine Art with a minor in Psychology at Bard College at Annandale-on-Hudson before earning my BS in Engineering through Columbia University’s 3+2 Dual Degree Program. Later, I pursued my teaching certificate and my Master’s in Education with a focus on Social Studies at New York University. I am currently a Master’s candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

I have been working as a student college counselor for over six years and have guided over 230 students to prepare for and apply to colleges in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong. At the heart of my work is a belief that college counseling isn’t only about admissions, but also about personal growth, self-discovery, and finding a path that feels right! I am looking forward to working with you!
