Hello! I am a Graduate Coach with Ingenius Prep, based in Hong Kong. I am also an incoming JD candidate at Stanford Law School (Fall 2024).
I grew up all over the United States, but spent most of my childhood in Long Island, NY. As a high school student, I scored a perfect 5 on 15 Advanced Placement exams. It is around this time that I began working in college admissions prep where I helped students study for the SAT, ACT, and other college entrance exams.
As an undergraduate at Columbia University, I expanded beyond exam prep and began helping students through the entire admissions process. Over the past 6 years, I have worked with students from all over China, Indonesia, the United States, and other countries get into their dream schools. I have personally been accepted to or helped students get accepted to Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Columbia, UC Berkeley, NYU, UChicago, UCLA, Northwestern, USC, and others. As a high school student, I was also heavily involved in different scholarship and science research programs including the Intel Science Talent Search (now Regeneron), the Coca Cola Scholars Program, the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO), and others.
After graduating summa cum laude from Columbia with a BA in economics, I completed an MA in law at the Yenching Academy of Peking University in Beijing, China. I then worked full time as an associate at one of Hong Kong’s top college prep companies for one year before working as a Fulbright Scholar in Uganda. Most recently, I was a member of the research faculty at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
In my free time I love hiking, swimming, and traveling. In the past few years I have visited more than 40 U.S. states, 20 Chinese provinces, and 35 countries. I love working with students from all over the world and learning about their unique experiences and achievements. I especially enjoy helping students craft the perfect essay that draws on their particular strengths and interests. I believe every student deserves personalized assistance and attention.
