Holding a master’s degree in counseling psychology from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, April possesses a deep passion for learning and a strong commitment to supporting students.
April’s journey has been marked by valuable experiences. As a school counselor at multiple university counseling centers, she helped college students with various challenges, from academic performance to peer relationships. Her role extended to leading group sessions, making her adept at motivating students to share their experiences and fostering a sense of community. April’s experiences have not been limited to clinical work; as a bilingual speaker of English and Mandarin Chinese, she has undertaken roles as a teacher in schools in both China and the United States.
