About Jessica Legare

Jessica Legare is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep based in New Jersey. As a distinguished educator with experience counseling and mentoring undergraduates, Jessica brings vast experience in higher education to her role as a Graduate Coach. She received her MA in East Asian Studies from Princeton, an MA in Japanese Language & Literature, and a BA in Modern Languages & Linguistics. Since then, Jessica has continued her work in higher education, helping students discover, refine, and communicate their academic strengths and innovative ideas.

In her prior roles, Jessica founded and co-organized the East Asian Studies Graduate Student Forum at Princeton. She has also been recognized with the Princeton Graduate School’s Graduate Teaching Award, the John and Julia Sensenbrenner Fellowship, the Charles and Margaret T. Hanna Fellowship, as well as the Spector Memorial Graduate Writing Award at Washington University. She draws from these successful experiences to help students prepare for independent research and productive scholarly exchange across a variety of institutional settings.

As a Graduate Coach, Jessica brings an extensive and comprehensive understanding of the educational landscape. Her insights into evaluating coursework and involvement with international forums have guided student cohorts as they prepare for master’s and doctoral-level studies in the US. With a focus on tailored feedback and dedication to cultivating each student’s unique intellectual interests, Jessica is equipped to help students present their best selves as they strive for their educational and career goals.
