Hi! I am a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep, based in Los Angeles, California. I attended Stanford University, where I earned my undergraduate degree in History. After my time at Stanford, I completed my Masters of Education at Loyola Marymount University with a concentration in Public Policy and Administration. I have been an English teacher for five years, teaching both middle school and high school students. I love teaching English because I get to work closely with students to develop their writing and presentation skills, key skills for any young person to express their thoughts and make a strong impact on the world.
Throughout my experience teaching, I have been fortunate to work with many different students, all with unique voices. I am always excited to help students craft their message and build a standout profile in which they can be confident. I believe in building strong relationships based on trust and high expectations so that all students can achieve their goals.
In my free time you can find me crafting, reading, hiking, or enjoying the warm California weather. I love science fiction and fantasy novels as well as reading all of the new young adult fiction my students are obsessed with!
