During my tenure as an Assistant Director of Admissions and Director of India at the University of Chicago’s Undergraduate Admissions Office, I read thousands of applications from around the world.
As an alumna of the College, I was proud to represent my alma mater in Chicago and across the ocean. As part of student recruitment, I traveled with an international consortium group that included Brown University, Barnard College, Columbia University in the City of New York, Cornell University and Johns Hopkins University.
During these trips, my colleagues and I spoke with prospective students about the importance of a liberal arts and sciences curriculum and taught essay writing workshops, met with teachers and counselors and learned about the cultures from which our students were applying.
Today, I live in Chicago, where I pursue my passion for history, my love of literature, and fascination with computer programming and web development every day.
