Caroline Reed is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep. She has extensive experience in professional and academic writing and editing. She received her B.A. in history at Yale, graduating with distinction in the major.
Caroline has edited books, journal articles, and essays for academics working at Yale, UC Berkeley, Utrecht University, and elsewhere. She has also tutored undergraduates on their academic writing at Yale.
Caroline has advised dozens of students with varied backgrounds on the college admissions process. She takes a flexible approach, adapting quickly to each student’s unique circumstances and goals, and students she worked with have secured admission at Ivy League schools and competitive honors programs across the country.
Her experience editing the work of students, professionals, and academics has given Caroline a keen eye for detail and an appreciation for the little things that make an admissions essay stand out. As a Graduate Coach, her work with high school students through several admissions cycles has left her with a unique understanding of how the process works.
