About Norie

Norie Wright is a Graduate Coach and an elite communications and public policy professional who graduated with a remarkable 4.03 GPA from Cornell University’s Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy. Norie’s academic foundation began at Franklin & Marshall College, where she completed an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Art History. During her graduate residency at Cornell, her high-level research earned her numerous prestigious funding titles, including the CIPA/Brooks School Tuition Fellowship, the Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies Graduate Research Fellowship, and the Brooks School Student Opportunity Grant.

Norie brings robust, real-world public sector and editorial experience to her strategic advising. She currently serves as an Excelsior Service Fellow at the New York State Department of State, where she architects agency-wide communication strategies, employee engagement programs, and professional development resources. Within academia, she served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Cornell, where her scholarly focus centered on Arctic governance, international policy, maritime security, and civic education. Furthermore, she held critical editorial leadership roles with the Cornell Policy Review, giving her a professional editor’s eye for structural writing and analytical arguments.

As a Graduate Coach, Norie leverages her extensive background in mentoring, instructional design, and elite academic publishing to help students craft flawless application materials. She excels at helping policy, environmental, and humanities students translate their undergraduate coursework and internships into highly structured, compelling narratives.
