Jessica is a Graduate Coach, educator, and international development professional whose work has taken her from classrooms around the world to community-based projects across sub-Saharan Africa. In her current role as Director of Development for an international nonprofit organization, she leads fundraising, partnership development, and initiatives that support healthcare, education, and economic opportunity in rural communities.
Before moving into nonprofit leadership, Jessica worked as a teacher, mentor, and college advisor. She taught in schools across the United States, South Korea, and India, experiences that reinforced her belief that education has the power to open doors, broaden perspectives, and create opportunities. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with students from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate the college admissions process, explore leadership opportunities, and make thoughtful decisions about their academic and professional futures.
Jessica holds a Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from American University. She is passionate about helping students transform their experiences, interests, and accomplishments into compelling applications. As a Graduate Coach, she helps students navigate the admissions process while building the confidence and self-awareness needed to thrive in college and beyond, through mentorship and individualized guidance.
