Dr. Allan Davis is a Former Admissions Officer with InGenius Prep. He has extensive leadership experience in both undergraduate and medical school admissions. Currently serving as an Assistant Dean at Washington University in St. Louis, Allan acts as a four-year advisor to students, with a primary focus on those pursuing careers in healthcare and graduate school.
Allan’s admissions career began at the UMKC School of Medicine, where he rose from a pipeline program coordinator to the Assistant Dean of Admissions. In that role, he oversaw the admissions policies and execution for four clinical and five graduate programs, including BA/MD and MD tracks. His academic background is equally rigorous; he holds a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland and has taught at several prestigious institutions, including the UMKC School of Medicine and American University.
Having managed high-stakes interview days and committee reviews, Allan deeply understands how to shape a competitive medical or graduate school application. He is particularly passionate about equity in education, having led diversity recruitment initiatives and pipeline programs supported by federal HRSA grants.
