Blake Toliver is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep. His academic journey led him to complete his BA in English and Criminology, followed by an MA in Public Policy with a specialization in criminal justice, all at Penn State. Blake’s passion for learning extended beyond borders, as he studied diplomacy in Johannesburg, South Africa, and organized crime in Curaçao.
Throughout his academic career, Blake actively engaged in leadership roles. He served as president of a pre-law organization, represented his peers in student government, and guided incoming students as an orientation leader. Before law school, he gained practical legal experience as an SEO Law Fellow and currently represents his first-year class in the Black Law Students Association at Penn Carey Law. Blake’s leadership is rooted in advocacy, providing resources to underserved communities, and fostering inclusive spaces.
Recognizing the challenges of navigating the law school admissions process alone, Blake is dedicated to supporting students. His self-taught approach to crafting compelling personal statements, structuring resumes, and mastering admissions interviews not only strengthened his own application but also fueled his desire to help others. Blake now shares his knowledge to empower students to submit their strongest applications and increase their chances of acceptance into their dream schools.
