I am the former Admissions Counselor for the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program at Touro University Nevada. During my time at Touro, I reviewed applications, led admissions committee meetings, and made admissions decisions for students wanting to enter medical school. I also have experiences working for the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign Admissions office reviewing and making admissions decisions for the highly competitive School of Engineering. In addition, I have worked as a teaching assistant for English classes at Nevada State College and College of Southern Nevada, as well as a substitute teacher and guidance counselor for high schools in the Las Vegas area.
As an admissions coach, I have helped many students achieve their dreams of getting in to college by reviewing student portfolios, personal statement editing, and assisting with college applications. I spent a substantial amount of time coaching the applicants to Touro University Nevada’s College of Osteopathic Medicine by prepping them on how to put their best foot forward and guiding them on how to create the strongest application possible, ensuring that they would be noticed by the admissions committee. I am passionate about helping students gain admission to their dream schools.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking in Red Rock Canyon, camping and skiing on Mount Charleston, and boating on Lake Mead. I love seeing shows on the strip, trying out new restaurants with my family, and enjoying all that Las Vegas has to offer!
