Danielle Gauthier is a Graduate Coach who operates as a multi-disciplinary artist, technologist, and researcher. Currently pursuing her M.S. in Data Science with an AI specialization at Northwestern University, she conducts research as a member of the Institute for Innovations in Developmental Sciences. Her prior academic foundation is uniquely humanistic, containing an MFA from Hunter College and a B.A. from The New School. This rare combination of creative and technical credentials reflects her commitment to bridging deep data analysis with creative practice and human inquiry.
Danielle’s professional history is highly diverse, spanning government social services, civic curriculum development, and STEM education. As a former Case Manager for New York City’s HIV/AIDS Services Administration, she coordinated with multi-agency stakeholders and managed over 50 complex case files to ensure equitable benefits distribution. Additionally, she has designed coding workshops at The GIANT Room and engineered civic engagement programs for underserved youth through Global Kids.
Currently, Danielle works as a Community Fellow with the University of Colorado MEDLab, where she researches protocol design and digital community governance. Fluent in Python, R, SQL, HTML, and JavaScript, she is highly equipped to help students think across both the qualitative and quantitative dimensions of complex problems. Danielle specializes in mentoring students navigating unconventional paths, helping them synthesize nonlinear backgrounds into rigorous, authentic, and distinctive application portfolios.
